From Obstacle Course to Complete Integration

If you think back to pool enclosures from the turn of the millennium, you probably picture massive arched "greenhouses" running on tall tubular or deep U-profile rails. These robust systems did fulfil their primary function and allowed the segments to slide, but from the user's point of view they were highly impractical. The rails protruded insensitively several centimetres above the level of the surrounding paving, creating a dangerous physical barrier. Stubbed toes and grazed knees on running children were an everyday occurrence.

As soon as strong wind pushes against the structure and aerodynamic lift develops, however, the hooks immediately brace against the solid inner lip of the aluminium track and keep the enclosure safely anchored to the ground. Thanks to this mechanical innovation, rails were able to shed their unsightly height.

The final surface treatment plays a crucial role. Top-class anodising or premium stove-enamelled powder coatings provide an absolutely impermeable barrier against corrosion. Technology today also allows customers to match the colour of the running track perfectly to the shade of the surrounding paving or the window frames. Luxurious matte anthracite shades, fine metallic textures and special anti-slip treatments are available, so the rail doesn't become slippery even under wet feet. The track thus ceases to be a disruptive element and becomes an integral part of your terrace.

Single-Rail Guidance: Maximising Your Space

If dust or spring pollen builds up, all it takes is to rinse the track lightly with a hose once a month. No awkward kneeling on the ground and no extracting dirt with vacuum nozzles.
